Greenwich - Painted Hall and Queen's House

Painted Hall Ceiling, The Old Royal Naval College Greenwich

On arrival at Greenwich we enjoy tea or coffee, followed by a guided tour of the magnificent Painted Hall, often referred to as the UK's Sistine Chapel, at the Old Royal Naval College. The ceilings and walls were decorated by Sir James Thornhill, whose work is much in evidence at Moor Park Mansion. Also included in your entry ticket is admission to the Chapel, the Nelson Room, the Skittle Alley and the Visitors' Centre Museum.

There is free time for lunch and then we take a guided tour of the nearby Queen's House, with it's classical architecture, renowned art works and the Great Hall, a perfectly proportioned galleried cube - as can also be seen at Moor Park.
