Christmas at Mottisfont and Winchester

A romantic house and gallery set in beautiful riverside gardens near Romsey, Hampshire, Mottisfont is an 18th century building with a medieval priory at its heart. The house was transformed into a comfortable, neo-classical home and artistic centre in the 1930s and it reflects the life and passions of its fascinating last owner, society hostess and arts patron Maud Russell.

At Christmas it is beautifully adorned with twinkling lights, sparkling Christmas trees and festive swags. On arrival we can buy refreshments then view the house with its permanent collection of 20th century art at our own pace, or vice-versa.
