Hughenden Manor and Waddesdon at Christmas

Hughenden Manor

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT. A WAIT LIST IS IN OPERATION

Today we visit two glorious National Trust houses decked out for Christmas.

First stop on our day out is Hughenden Manor, home of Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, the house transformed throughout into a Nordic wonderland inspired by a book on Norse Mythology from Disraeli's Library.

A festive trans-European Grand Tour awaits us at Waddesdon. Every stop on the journey within the house will highlight a different city, blending local heritage and festive customs and links to Waddesdon’s famous collection, all brought to life by immersive light art and beautiful decorations.

In the grounds, visit the famous Christmas Fair and Food Village, and follow the spectacular Outdoor Light Trail and Illuminations, which will transform Waddesdon’s majestic facade and landscape into a kaleidoscope of colour, lights and music.

Both houses have refreshments and gift shops, with lots of festive options available.
