Square Mile Curios: visit the London Mithraeum, the Guildhall Art Gallery, the City of London Police Museum and finally a Wren Church for tea and biscuits
We plan to arrive about 10:30 to buy morning coffee, if desired, and meet our guide. We are off the coach all day for a series of short and flat walks with the guide, including opportunities to sit down. In the morning we visit the London Mithraeum followed by lunch, which can be purchased on Cheapside by Bow Bells. The afternoon takes us to The Guildhall Art Gallery and the quirky City of London Police Museum. We will end the day in a Wren Church for tea and biscuits before leaving for home.

Follies and Vines - A visit to Painshill Park in Surrey and then Denbies Wine Estate
Painshill Park, Surrey, is an 18th century landscaped garden with follies, grottoes, waterwheel and vineyard, plus tearoom, created by the Hon. Charles Hamilton. Inspired by Renaissance art and his Grand Tours, Hamilton created a sequence of breathtaking and surprising vistas at Painshill.
Denbies Wine Estate, England's largest vineyard, is nearby. We will take a 50-minute vineyard 'train' tour to the vineyard's most beautiful viewing points over the North Downs ...... and then there is the wine tasting!
