What is colour? Can we believe our own eyes? This study day explores how colour and illusion affect our appreciation of art. We will also learn how deeply both influence our day-to-day lives - and in far more ways than we may realise.

Today we examine 400 years of international jewellery design, from the pomp of the enamelled gold work ot the High Renaissance to the glamour of Harry Winston diamonds. And do bring along your own jewellery for John to assess and value in our own mini 'Antiques Roadshow' after lunch.
